What is Oceania Online Racing?

We are a PC Sim Racing group, made up of drivers from all around the Oceania Region - predominantly Australia and New Zealand. We pride ourselves on running a group that is welcoming, encouraging & inclusive. Our online races are very competitive, clean & challenging, but above all, fun.

Who can join Oceania Online Racing?

OOR is open to any online sim racers, of any age, in the Oceania Region. You must also have an internet connection that is suitable for online racing, as this affects all drivers on the track and a large amount of lag, can ruin another drivers race instantaneously. We also have a zero tolerance on any form of online abuse and bullying, which includes but not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobicism, sexual harassment etc.

What countries are in the Oceania region?

Oceania is made up of countries from: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papa New Guinea, Guam, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands and many more.

I live outside of this region, can I join?

If you have a very good internet connection, and pass an internet test as well as an online race test (conducted by us) - you may be allowed to join and compete.

Do I need a wheel to join?

Whilst we encourage you to get into racing with a wheel, we understand that this just isn't possible for everyone wanting to get into Sim Racing and for that reason we do allow any controller type to be used.

What do I need to join?

You will obviously need a Steam account. You will also need Discord, which is how we primarily communicate.
